Feel the magic of Barcelona's Architecture Jewels

We will meet at Sagrada Familia for a cup of coffee and a short introduction. After having coffee, we will start our unforgettable tour to a historic church. The first step is to visit Nativity Façade which covers the eastern side of the building. Unusual shapes give the structure the typical gaudiesque touches, letting the imagination run wild as the carefully carved stonework appears to drip off the building. Later on, we visit the Passion façade which was designed by Catalan sculptor Josep Subirachs.

Next on our list is park Guell and "Magic fountains," a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A magical park with amazing buildings, sculptures, tile work and Gaudi's old home. Magic Fountain was built for the 1929 World Fair by Carles Buïgas. Pumping 2,600 litres of water every second, using extremely artisanal methods in water arrangements, sound and lighting this fountain is a spectacular not to be missed.

Finally, We will go to taste an Indian Cuisine in Barcelona. There is a dinner planned at an Indian restaurant for giving a final and unique touch to this unforgettable experience.

Reviews

Interesting exploration!

Haji was extremely nice and made exploring more fun with anecdotes and history that only a local could provide. He sat us down to get to know us and vice-versa at the beginning of the tour -- so that he could best tailor what we would see on our exploration. We went to La Sagrada Familia first and finished the tour by exploring Park Guell. He was even kind enough to offer to ride to Las Ramblas with us and show us things we missed the first time we were there, even though it was technically past the allotted tour time. My only suggestions for anyone taking the tour is to make sure you get your tickets to Sagrada Familia in advance, especially if you would like to go to the top of the church. We wasted some time waiting in line when and we could have avoided that if we knew to pre-purchase the tickets and reserve time to go to the top. Overall, it was a good experience.
