Alberto gave me a fabulous tour of the Ciudad Vieja and other areas around downtown Montevideo. He definitely knew his stuff and gave me a lot of context on how certain buildings, areas, and communities came to me. We also shopped at the local market and he brought mate tea for us to share in the park. I didn't notice that our tour had gone on an extra half hour, as well, and Alberto gave me tips on other places I could visit after (which I did).
Overall I really enjoyed myself. Alberto translated for me, and also gave me options on what I wanted to see throughout the experience. He responded very quickly to my messages as well.
