We took a walking tour of Times Square and Greenwich Village last month with Alex. Had a brilliant time. Alex is really knowledgeable and we were lucky to be in a very small group with him. His food choices were FANTASTIC! He was also kind enough to recommend a number of restaurants to us for the remainder of our stay and we're so glad he did, they were divine. We got such a good feel for both very different areas thanks to Alex and quizzed him to our hearts content about the city he clearly knows so much about! Thanks Alex! Mary & Frankie.
My wife and I enjoyed two outstanding days of walking tours around New York during our second and third days in New York earlier in April. We started with the Times Square and Greenwich Village tours with Garry and then joined Alex for the Hells Kitchen and Central Park tours the following day. All tours were information and action packed and delivered a huge confidence boost. We stepped out of the shadow of the NY skyscrapers and walked around the residential areas of the city and realised that New York is an incredibly safe city. The bonus is we learnt a lot about the history of the city and found some great places to eat. We thoroughly recommend these small group tours (we had two others with us on both days) and we saw many larger walking tours that definitely lacked the personal attention we received.
