After walking Asakusa, we’ll go for a stroll in Ueno. We eat lunch in Ameyoko. Then we walk through Ueno park. We’ll end the journey in Yanaka.
Yanaka still retains the bustle and the hustle and warmth of old Tokyo. The Yanaka area is a historical place in Tokyo which was developed as a temple town in the Edo period(1603-1867).
The people living in Edo(former name of Tokyo) used to visit Yanaka for worship and leisure. Yanaka still retains the charm and warmth of the past. The people in Yanaka are very friendly. It has been a simple residential area for common working people.
