Reviews for Penang Hidden Gems Island Tour

Today we went on a wonderful tour of Penang Island. Michel is the perfect host. He took us to eat beautiful food in places that we would have never otherwise have found. We swam in a mountain stream. We walked along picturesque beaches. We watched the sunset from a high point on the south west corner of PI. We saw fishing villages, took panoramic views of remote sections of the west coast. Michel has an intimate knowledge of the island, and a passion for showing his guests around. If you come here, take the tour. It has been a highlight of our travels!

Tired of walking dirty and boring street, seeing cliche places and eating touristy food? You must go see Michel. Penang is him, and he is Penang. He knows Penang very well like as his palm and knows many local people. Thanks to Michel, I saw many local wild animal of Penang - Alligator, Kingfisher, Monkey, Moose, Mudskipper and so on. Forget Penang hill, which is crowded and ripping off foreigners. Michel will guide you to the greatest view point of Penang, where you can have fantastic dinner with sunset. Needless to say, he is a great guide. Go See him. Deep dive to Penang.

On this tour you get to see so much, starting the day with a wonderful local breakfast. Then on to a waterfall, a great location to cool down, and on the way you can try a local fruit Durian (it is quite smelly.) You will learn many things about Penang, from the history to the politics, and what I enjoy most- the wildlife- which is in abundance on the island from tropical plant life, monkeys, snakes and bugs. My favourite part of the tour was having dinner in a weird and wonderful place with crazy art work. The best part is the view you see as the sunsets- it is truly breath taking! Michel as a guide is informative, energetic, and charismatic with a great sense of humour. He can advise you on many different things from what dish to order and what else to see and do in Malaysia. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it. From sunrise to sunset Michel can recommend more then enough to do for at least a week. Loved it.

Michel was a great guide. My wife and son toured the Western coast of Penang island and it was very nice. Michel is a very informative guide, he knows the island like a local. He showed us many hidden spots, from swimming in a waterfall pool in the jungle, to dining on a mountain restaurant with sea view, even eating durian, smelly fruit with interesting taste. You can ask anything to Michel, he is very knowledgeable and helpful about Malaysia.
