In cities like Agra, you’ll not only see the Taj, but also how people working there live. You’ll visit a real family in a real Bishnoi village, not a packaged experience. In addition to understanding the local cultures of the Rajasthani people, you’ll of course visit all the must-see palaces and forts. Whether its exploring big, bustling cities, and small-rural villages, discovering local delicacies, wandering maze-like bazaars, experiencing life in the dessert, or marveling at ancient forts—Rajasthan has it all.
DAYS 1-2 MUMBAI
Arrive in Mumbai. Sightseeing in the city on Day 2.
DAY 3-5 UDAIPUR
Morning flight to Udaipur on Day 3. Sightseeing by bicycle, visit to City Palace, dinner with a local family.
DAY 6 RANAKPUR + BISHNOI VILLAGE
Travel by van to Ranakpur, home of an ancient Jain temple and to visit a Bishnoi village with a local family. Continue on to Jodhpur arriving in the evening.
DAY 7-8 JODHPUR
Camel safari outside of Jodhpur + dinner in the dessert. Sightseeing in “The Blue City”.
DAY 9-10 JAIPUR
Morning train to Jaipur, visit to the Amber Fort.
DAY 11 AGRA
Morning train to Agra, lunch with a local rickshaw driver’s family in their nearby village.
DAY 12 AGRA/DELHI
Visit to the Taj Mahal, catching a train to Delhi in the late afternoon.
DAY 13 DELHI
Sightseeing in Delhi by car, farewell dinner.
DAYS 14 DELHI
