Bay Area Bread & Brew
Berkeley, California
DURATION:
1 hour long
PEOPLE:
for 2 - 10 people

Carbohydrate-loading, NorCal style.

Taste your way through two of the San Francisco Bay Area's celebrated traditions: craft beer and bread. From the beer perspective, we'll savor a revolving lineup of delicious microbrews (including hard-to-find gems) produced by an eclectic mix of Bay Area brewers. Between sips, nibble on local bread, including several sourdough varietals, topped with savory spreads. All the while, expect lively conversation and a tasting notes discussion much less intelligent than it actually sounds!

Your tasting guide is neither a brewer nor a baker, just an enthusiastic consumer like yourself with an appreciation for food and drink.

For: Beer lovers (obviously) who also like their carbohydrates in bread form. Travelers who can't purchase Bay Area goodies at their local market. Locals hoping to expand their beer experience but seeking guidance. Dedicated beer aficionados interested in meeting like-minded folks. Let me know your beer type preferences, if you have any, but plan on being adventurous.

Itinerary and Inclusions:

Upwards of ten 4 oz. beer tastings of NorCal's finest microbrews and a selection of local breads with assorted spreads. Lively conversation.
