See Japan’s ancient sport of sumo up close and in person at one of the three Tokyo tournaments each year – in January, May, and September, or perhaps down in Osaka (March) or Nagoya (July) which is only a short ride from the capital in the famed bullet train. Very few ever get to see a real sumo tournament. Fewer see these men of strength practicing in their stables in the morning before tournaments.
