Fazendas (Portuguese for "farms") were plantations found throughout Brazil during the colonial period where sugar was produced, shifting to coffee production in the 19th century. Today, Fazenda refers to any kind of farm.
Lucky for us, this isn't just any farm. Our family's private estate includes a 500,000-acre ranch, swimming pool, gardens, stables and an array of exotic animals from toucans to monkeys and even an ostrich. This 6-hour unique experience includes a tour of the grounds, Brazilian cheesecake baking lesson, lunch sourced locally from the estate and ends with a sunset horseback ride. Get ready to lounge and enjoy the Brazilian countryside like a true local!
