Trek the Himalayas and Experience Ladak
Travel to a place where rich history collides with a melting pot of different cultures. You’ll explore Pangong Tso, a high-altitude lake with blue-green shades of tranquil brackish waters and surrounded by snow-capped high mountains. We will drive up to Khardung La, known as the World's Highest Motorable Road at 18,380 feet above sea level, and further down to Nubra Valley, a high altitude cold desert. Then we’ll go white-water Rafting on River Indus. You’ll visit the monasteries, eat with the villagers, and truly be integrated into the way of life.
Ladakh lies at an altitude from 9000 ft to 25170 feet... you are basically on the roof of the world. As the highest inhabited land in the world, it holds a fascination for many, while for some there is an enchantment of seeing mountains which had been under the sea for million of years. It is common in Ladakh to come across villages carved out of veritable mountainside, setups reaching the sky, monasteries virtually hanging from the cliffs and crags. Their interiors are filled with priceless antiques and art.
This 11 day long tour will give you the opportunity to see and experience Ladakh and the Himalayan ranges in a whole new way.
