Discover historic Boston & its coastal wonders

This is a limited trip for Saturday June 2, 2025 or Sunday June 3, 2012.

We will meet at Columbus Waterfront Park at 3pm and begin with a short walking tour of Boston's North End, where I will show you the historic and gastronomic aspects of the neighborhood. I will provide transportation and we will visit the nearby Beacon Hill neighborhood, which is the current seat of Massachusetts state government. From here we will begin our exploration of the South Shore. We will start down scenic route 3A to the Nantasket Peninsula, known for its beautiful beaches and views of the Boston skyline, and continue south to the quaint, coastal "New England" villages of Cohasset & Duxbury. We will end our journey in Plymouth- the site of the Mayflower's landing and the Pilgrims' settlement.

Special Instructions: Wear comfortable clothing and sneakers- there will be some walking involved and many streets are bricked or cobblestones. Make sure to bring your own water and snacks, but we can also stop along the way to enjoy the local flavor. Boston has a number of great seafood spots and other local favorites.

The tour begins promptly at 3pm at Columbus Waterfront Park and lasts approximately 4 hours. We will return to Columbus Park around 7pm. Please message me to notify me if you are interested in the Saturday tour or the Sunday tour.

For: Anyone- locals who want to escape the city and explore; visitors to New England; those interested in architecture; historians; photographers.
