Being on the streets has its perks.
Come check out one of my favorite San Francisco past times (that just keeps getting better and is never the same twice)! The Mission has a vibrant gourmet street food scene that boasts everything from organic mushroom soup to chocolate ganache caramel tortes.
We'll begin our tour as most good meals start, with a aperitif of soup made by Patrick (as seen in my profile picture), then we'll continue our culinary journey to discover what's on the menu further up Valencia. My personal favorite is the Indian fry bread taco and Michelle the Paris-trained pastry chef's tortes.
After eating our look at a conveniently located parklette or heated outdoor patio, well grab some wine or a beer and stroll a gallery. After we've had our fill of local art, we'll meet up with one of the regular bakers or chocolatiers while nearby street musicians fill the evening air with sweet music.

Jamie is an incredible guide for seeing and tasting all that the Mission has to offer. It was so much fun at each place we stopped to try another interesting and amazing tasty course of street food. This is an incredible experience of amazing food and people (Jamie included!) in an completely unpretentious and innovative atmosphere. So much fun!
