Springs, waterfalls, beaches, plantations, more!

One and two days visits to out of the way, less travelled spots and attractions with a personal touch. Get to know the culture, cuisine, music and the truly sweet real people of Jamaica.

Day trips based out of Port Antonio can take you to one or several of the mountain hiking trails, remote beaches, waterfalls, hot mineral springs, Maroon towns, slave plantation ruins, craft and food markets, music studios. You name it and it probably can happen.

Overnight trek to Blue Mountain Peak (approx. 7,400ft) at sunrise, including stay at a family run coffee farm and guest lodge nestled in the Blue Mountains. Hike down through wildflower and forest to return to a Maroon Town and bathe in the Buff Bay River's clean cold rapids.

I have been coming to Jamaica since 1970, more as a curious traveller and resident than as a tourist. I know places on the island most Jamaicans have never visited, have friends everywhere islandwide and have had to trod long and hard to have the experiences I am offering here.

For: Anyone who loves nature, local foods, and culture.

Cost Includes:

Expert guidance from locals.
Overnight stay at family run coffee farm.
