I was born and raised in Jamaica, Queens in New York City. A true city boy I have experienced everything you can imagine that a city like New York has to offer. From the finest restaurants ( I am an incredibly passionate foodie) and nightlife to the gritty and sometimes scary streets and also to the secret corners where you can actually feel like you escaped. I love this city and I love sharing it even more with visitors so they can appreciate the "real" New York. I am also extremely lucky to have parents that love to travel and because of this as far back as I can remember, every summer we flew out west, rented a van and road tripped for two weeks all over this beautiful country. I think I have slept in every Best Western west of Denver! It was thing I looked forward to most as a kid and I have spent the last 20 years revisiting many of those places, bringing old friends and new along with me. I started working on Wall Street when I was 19 and spent the next 18 as a successful stock broker and eventually was promoted to running my own offices both in London, England and back home in good old NYC. It provided me with the opportunity to travel to so many places both here and in Europe. Never being the one who likes to lounge on a beach for a week or find a big party scene I always found myself exploring the back country wildernes, small town and villages and really getting away from all the stress and chaos of city living. In 2009, feeling that something just was't quite right in my life, I quit my job and moved out to the Sierra Nevada Mountains where I spent the next year and a half exploring the mountains, deserts and coast lands of California. I have hiked endless miles and camped out under the starts for weeks on end creating fun open fire meals and sharing stories with some really amazing people. I have discovered a world of healing, power and happiness and have dedicated my life to sharing these experiences with the everyone who would like to get away from it all. I am now based in New York City again and have continued these adventures in the Catskills of New York, The Green Mountains of Vermont and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. .There is an amazing world just beyond these city walls and I am excited to share any and all of these experiences. If you want to escape the buildings and the noise or jump right in and see life in the city through the eyes of a true native I would be honored to be your guide. I once read a quote that says "While I still can, and while it is still there" so please join me "while you still can, and while I am still here" Full profile ⋅ Leave a Review
