This is basically a tour that people who are interested in hand made Turkish rugs may enjoy. Your tour guide will be Ali ( that is me by the way ) who is the writer of a good guide-book about handmade Turkish rugs and he will be happy to share all his knowledge with the tour participants. If interested you may visit wholesalers where you can get rugs at unbelievably cheap prices. It is about 3 hours of walking tour. Everyday.
Our meeting place will be at somewhere near Sultanahmet. After a short tour of the Grand Bazaar we will have a nice demonstration on hand made Turkish rugs. Our tour lasts for 3 hours but the clients may stay at the rug shop for shopping after that. The Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays.
Only tour guide's fee for a private tour is included. Private pick-up with minivan from the hotel or seaport or airport and drop-off is possible but it will be charged separately.
