We had a great time checking out the locals scene in Istanbul with Bilal and his fiancee. We went to a great locals-only restaurant we would have never found on our own, plus visited a Meyhanes restaurant on Nevizade Sokak owned by Bilal's friend who is also a fascinating person. Bilal took us to another Meyhanes place another night and introduced us to more local friends. Great opportunity to learn about real life in Istanbul plus meet a great new friend in Bilal. Highly recommended!

This is a great time. Bilal and a friend took us to a great, hip little spot ( couldn't find it on your own) where we saw cool local indie band with a modern take on traditional music. We also went out for drinks/snack before. It was really fun and Bilal is a great guy, super-knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend this tour to anyone that wants to see a little of the underground scene with a local perspective. We ended up hanging out with Bilal a few other times b/c he is just a cool guy. He is always passing on info about good spots in the city. I recommend you do any of Bilal's tours.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening with Bilal. The food and drink were plentiful and delicious, the music was great, and we learned so much from Bilal about Turkish culture, politics, religion, food, dancing, and more. After dinner and traditional music, Bilal took the younger (20-something) members of our group out to the local clubs where they had a great time dancing into the wee hours. I highly recommend this Vayable adventure!

Bilal loves music and nightlife in Istanbul. Don't go to the touristy spots, go where locals go to hang out and have fun! There's a great alternative music scene in Istanbul that only someone like Bilal can navigate you through. He's a fun guide with a go with the flow personality!

Bilal has passion for his city and therefore knows the ideal places to eat, drink, and listen to traditional music. As a local he's weeded out the touristy places from the authentic and quality places. Follow him and you'll be in good company!
