Just 27 miles from New York City you will find a community that has nine registered historic districts. This marvelous collection of residential architecture had it's beginning in the 1870's with the development of the rail lines. Within the city limits you will see building styles that include include: Second Empire, Eastlake, Queen Anne (pictured), Richardsonian Romanesque, Shingle, plus Tudor, Greek, Spanish and Colonial revival and all the way to mid-century modern.
