"Mexico is in its Markets." Pablo Neruda was absolutely right.
During this tour we will visit four different markets, including Mercado Jamaica, famous for its beautiful flowers. La Merced, the biggest market in the city that first began operation in prehispanic times. San Juan, famous for its gourmet food products and Mercado Sonora, famous for its products related to witchery and herbal medicine and exotic animals.
On Saturday we will Change San Juan for Mercado del Chopo, famous for being a center of counterculture in Mexico City and on Sunday for La Lagunilla, a market that is famous for its antiques and delicious micheladas!
