Examine the new & old architecture of the city.
We'll start in the Lower East Side and explore the neighborhood's eccentric tenements, fire escapes, and iconographic new structures. From the New Museum to Tschumi's Blue Tower, from the Cooper Union's Sustainable Morphosis building to Stephen Holl's Storefront for Art and Architecture, we will discuss cultural reactions to the area's gentrification and piece together the narrative uniting these individual buildings.

Really nice tour of the major architectural building in the LES. Really cool guide, it's even a good way to discover the neighbor.
