Your diving experience in Tulum begins with the encounter of the second largest coral reef in the world. The reef extends 300 kilometers in Mexican waters and continues to Honduras. It crosses several natural reserves and most notably the Sian Kaan Reserve, listed in 1985 with UNESCO as World Heritage.
Access to this environment is very easy. You will see a multitude of aquatic scenery and wildlife species in which many are protected.
Diving right in front of the Mayan pyramids of Tulum, towering over like a lighthouse, is surely an experience you don’t want to miss.
Over 500 different marine species have been accounted for on the Yucatan coast. You will encounter sea turtles, hundreds of schools of tropical fish, gorgonians, coral in many shapes and forms and sponges. Every dive reserves new surprises!
