Street Art Workshop and Tour

Even before the Berlin Wall came down in 1989, its western side was covered in provocative paintings and murals. A few months later, one of the only sections of the wall still standing became a 1.3km-long gallery, perhaps the biggest urban art project in history. Street art in Berlin is stenciled on its soul; it’s not just about self-expression, it’s about freedom, hope and memory. This is a hands-on, immersive experience in a city where urban art lives and breathes.

On this 4 hour workshop / walking tour through Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain & Mitte districts we discover over 50 of Berlin's most famous and most recent Murals, walls, street art, graffiti pieces. A detailed explanation of the many different local and international artists, genres, styles and origins of the different scenes is presented on this colourful and inspiring walk.

From Stencils to paste-ups, tagging, throw-ups, , burners, pieces, murals and installations. Wildstyle, wicked style, trains, crews, top to bottom! Learn all about it on this amazing experience.

We´ll visit one or two unique galleries and experience urban art in a different kind of setting and discuss the growing trends and changes to the street art / graffiti scenes from a mainstream , consumer angle and the opposing views and opinions of underground purists and hardcore artists.

We then head to our workshop location where you will the get the chance to make your own street art & graffti! Some expert Local artists will join us to teach the art of graffiti writing with some live demo´s on a specially made indoor wall. As well as getting a chance to spray the wall yourself, you will take part in a professional stencil making workshop where you will be working on your own personal take home art piece.
