What's All the Buzz About Bozeman?

You've seen the name over and over, listed nearly every year by respected outdoor publications as "one of the best" small towns in the country. Now, you're coming to Montana, perhaps to visit Yellowstone or Glacier National Parks, so be sure to put Bozeman on your itinerary! Find out for yourself what makes this community so special.... what's the vibe? Who lives here, what do they do and why do they have such a passion for this surprisingly sophisticated small town in the Rocky Mountain West? There are two "tour" options for you to consider: one with an hour (roundtrip) walk/hike (children six and older with some hiking experience), and one without (children four and older welcome).

Let's meet at 9:00 am.
With hike: we'll take a short drive to our town's best loved trail, walking up to the "M," where there are benches to sit on while we look out over town and get our bearings. After coming down, we'll drive to the downtown, grab a refreshment at one of our historic Main Street coffee shops, then walk and talk down Main, discussing Bozeman's culture, history and future. I'll leave you with restaurant, gallery and shopping tips, directions to the Museum of the Rockies and Montana State Univ., and addtional ideas for what to do and see, depending on your schedule.
Without a hike: we'll start at the Museum, walk through the heart of the University, tour downtown, and drive out to a lovely vantage point to get a view of the "Valley of Flowers," and then let's discuss all those additional ideas for your stay in the area.
