Food and Culture Center of Portugal

Two days in Center of Portugal to show the best of culture monuments and local gastronomy. I will show Coimbra the old city of students and all important monuments around in the city. In the tour are included transfers by car from the places and I will be with you showing particular details from our culture.

Day one:
Coimbra zone: A general view by car around the city. After it we can walk in old town seeing the monuments in the zone. I suggest to we can arrest and drink something in a beautiful and emblematic café in old town.
After it we visit monuments in that area like Sé Nova and Machado de Castro museum that was recently restored.
Lunch time: I suggest to eat the traditional "Leitão a bairrada" that is special roasted pig very famous on that zone.
After I will show the Coimbra University one of the oldest in world and also his spectacular library.
Then I can drive to Figueira da Foz where we can arrest and prepare to dinner with regional wine and spend some coins in casino
Day two: I can show the city by day and after drive till the castle of Montemor-o-Velho from 1139. Than lunch time with traditional duck with conventual sweets. the afternoon will be in Coimbra and I can customize it according your suggestions if not I show other monuments.

To that tour I suggest that you book a place in Figueira da Foz or in Coimbra.
