When we think of Park Slope, we tend to think of gorgeous brownstones, brunch, and baby strollers. But did you know that the Slope has also been home to riots, battles, a plane crash, and the Death-O-Meter? Join urban historian and licensed guide Daniel London for a two-hour stroll through Grand Army Plaza and Park Slope, and discover the stories and secrets behind its famous Victorian-era facades. The tour starts at 1:00 underneath the Soldier and Sailor's Arch at Grand Army Plaza. The event is free, but tips are appreciated.

His enthusiasm for the park was contagious and entertaining. His itinerary was impeccable and instructive. The time of a 3 hour tour flew by. We can not wait until our next trip to NYC just to take another tour with Daniel. " "Our guide, Daniel, was great with lots of information." "I loved the tour and Daniel was quite knowledgeable!
