A new independently-owned business based on decades of life in New York and still learning new things every day, that is how the concept of Live Like A Local Tours came about. There is a strong desire to show everyone visiting or settling in New York a good time by introducing them to different things. It's variations on the themes - still shopping, eating, keeping the children busy and the evolution of business for those who seek something a bit offbeat and away from the masses. Hi! I'm Susan, the owner of Live Like A Local Tours. I have lived in New York for over two decades but I was born upstate and have experienced city and small town living up and down the east coast. I've also traveled nationally and internationally. I feel very comfortable showing people around New York and I love to hear all about where you are from as well. I'm a real people person and I love to walk and talk making this the perfect job for me. As my own boss I have the opportunity to explore New York and, amazingly, I continue to find new things to do.
