Kazan Kremlin Tour

A very interesting and informative walking tour to the impressive white fortress standing on the top of Kremlin hill. The Kazan Kremlin is the chief historic citadel of Tatarstan and the most attractive site for many tourists from all around the world. It is a unique historical and cultural monument, which preserved elements of 3 different architectural styles: Tatar, Russian and European.
Our local guide will pick you up at the Kremlin entrance, then you will walk inside the fortress where you will visit the Kul Sharif cathedral mosque built in 2005 and ancient Orthodox Annunciation Cathedral founded in 16th century. The guide will tell you how the Kremlin was built in beautiful white lime stone after the capture of Kazan by Russian Tsar Ivan the Terrible in October 1552.
The Kremlin tour can be combined with the visit of many museums located right inside the Kremlin. It will take 1 to 2 hours to see and visit the most important and interesting sites here.
