Côme and Eliott indeed did open the doors of the contemporary Parisian art scene to us. In the course of 3 hours we visited a good number of galleries with photos, paintings, sculptures and anything in between. The tour was the result of careful preparations and would have brought us to the new art scene in Belleville as well were it not that most galleries there had closed for French school holidays. During the tour, we not only had great explanations of what we were seeing but also an insightful discussion with both gentlemen on the theme of "perennité" and contemporary art. And a revealing walking tour of the upper Marais to boot. An afternoon very well spent.
A fantastic tour. Run by a generous host who is passionate and knowledgable about the art world in Paris and who goes out of his way to deliver an 'insiders' tour. We explored galleries that would never be found without the tour, in small hidden courtyards and up stairs, it was great to see the art but also the architecture of the spaces. If you love art, architecture or just want to know more about the Paris you don't normally see then this is the tour to do!
