Experience an exclusive cocktail hour at Elixir by gaining the necessary tools and cocktail construction, all through the building of four fundamental cocktails (Martinis, Manhattans, Mojitos and Margaritas) that most people misunderstand. By rediscovering these drinks and the ways they can be made you will come to understand not only how you really like your cocktails to be made, but how to order them so that you always get them that way, and more importantly, how to make them (and many more) for your friends and guests while entertaining. You will leave with a new perspective and the new insights you can use to entertain like a pro.

Cost Includes:
2 hours of instruction from one of the best bartenders in San Francisco (our instructors all work at the best bars in town, chances are you've read about them somewhere). You get a full set of tools to work with and you will actually make 4 complete cocktails (and get to drink them) using the best ingredients and utilizing the proper techniques.

H. Ehrmann knows his cocktails. He has a deep knowledge of not only ingredients and the process of making fantastic cocktails, but the history and lore that add great context to the art of mixology. Plus he has a wicked sense of humor and really seems to be able to connect with his class in a way that makes really fun and non-stressful. One of the best aspects of the class is watching the other participants get friendlier and louder with each drink made ;) It is a really good idea to plan for a pre-class meal, as the drinks will begin to creep up on you! I've never had drinks so delicious
With H's instruction and trade secrets in the art of cocktail making, I made some of the most delicious drinks I've had in my life! Whether you like it shaken or stirred, for sure join in on his class to make drinks that many bartenders don't even know how to make properly. Extra points for getting to play with fire. The night was certainly one to remember (or not remember).

If you can get a good group together, this experience is a blast. H is incredibly passionate about his trade and is able to take the complexity of mixology and put it in layman's terms so that even the least experienced individuals will be concocting awesome drinks by the end of the night.
