Explore the vast network of local streets, alleyways, footpaths and canals between the main urban thoroughfares. You will find/see hidden worlds of peace and tranquility, a picture of “real” Thai life that has remained unchanged for countless decades; an identity of a city that is true to the Thai people, yet largely unknown to outsiders.
Whether it’s the colorful sights and smells of the local markets (under the Phra Khanong bridge), the fascinating life of locals along the canals, or the surprising existence of bountiful green belts, discover the essence of what makes Bangkok one of Asia’s most captivating cities.
Bicycles, boats, and our feet become the tools we use to gain access to the previously inaccessible, behind-the-scenes lifestyle of the Thai. Here the roots of an ancient culture will become evident in a way you never could have imagined.

Vincent Sung Professional Photographer / Travel & Lifestyle photo-journalist / Creative Director / Event organizer / Producer Hello, I grew up and lived in Belgium where I studied Visual Communications & Journalism before apprenticing with some renowned photographers in Europe (Paris and Brussels). In 1992, I moved to Paris to take on assignments for a variety of Parisian modeling agencies, building models’ portfolios and worked for a number of fashion magazines (Marie Claire bis and Marie Claire) In 1996, my 'Korean roots' called me back and I decided to move back to Seoul, South Korea. There, I worked for the Korean editions of prominent international fashion magazines such as ELLE, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Noblesse, Haute, frequently traveling on assignments that took me elsewhere in Asia, Europe and USA (San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles). Early 2010, my globetrotter mindset and lifestyle, with a special affection for S.E. Asian countries, made me decide to relocate to Bangkok, Thailand – the hub of travel and tourism industry. From here, I have contributed to publications about travel and lifestyle featured in: DestinAsian, Lifestyle+Travel, Asean Tripper, Eloquence, Elle Indonesia. At present, I work/live in Bangkok and finished the first Asian edition of Cool Cities: Cool Bangkok (which was be published in November 2013 and following updates) www.cool-cities.com HIP spots in Bangkok: www.lefluxasia.com I also teach Photography Workshops in Bangkok and around Asia Find my workshops and online photofolio at: www.vincentsung.com Full profile ⋅ Leave a Review
