Food! The best word in any language. I lead with my stomach and in Istanbul it's hard not to! Over time I have accumulated a long list of must eat places only locals know about. To start off we'll stroll over the gorgeous waterfront, where we'll watch the local fisherman catch what will become our lunch. We'll try Balik Ekmek (fish, olive oil, salad greens, and lemon juice). Let's check out the Eminonu docks and ferry across the Bosphorous to try some pudding, fortune telling Turkish coffee, and daintily presented, but strong Turkish tea. Along the way I'll point out some landmarks on the Asian side of Turkey. To end our delicious food tour I'll introduce you to a local restaurant that has great Iskender Kebaps and other mouth watering choices!
