I was born in Vienna, and lived in and around town for 30 years. Since I started my travel blog Vienna Unwrapped I go back several times a year - just perfect.

New York Magazine calls my blog 'great for restaurant and hotel reviews (...) but experiential coverage is equally thorough.'

Every time my hometown is ranked among the best cities in the world to live in (and that happens regularly) I would email my fellow emigrant friend Elisabeth, dropping the question: 'What are we doing here (in London)?' The answer would shoot back: 'I don't know.'
