I first came to Chiang Rai, Thailand to teach English at Mae Fah Luang University ins 2008. I immediately fell in love with the language, environment, food, driving a motorcycle and of course, coffee. When I wasn't teaching, I explored the region on my motorcycle, sampling coffees and reading tons of books. This lifestyle eventually landed me a job as editor for a cafe magazine based in Bangkok called Coffee T&I.; I spent the following year traveling around Asia, photographing and writing about its coffee and cafes.

Presently I am working on starting my own business, but I always savor the opportunity to share with friends and travelers my favorite thing to do in Thailand: ride the hills of Northern Thailand with a book, a journal and a serious penchant to ponder.
