I learned to fly in England fifteen years ago and received my pilot's license before I'd taken my first driving lesson. Following a passion and enchantment with all things aviation I'm now a flight instructor and enjoy sharing the excitement of flying with others.
I have experience flying over 45 different airplane types and hold the following F.A.A. licenses: Flight Instructor (Airplane Single Engine; Instrument Airplane); Advanced Ground Instructor; Commercial Pilot (Instrument Airplane: Single and Multi Engine Land); Private Pilot (Single Engine Sea).
When I'm not in the air I work in corporate strategy for a technology company, before which I was an engineering consultant after attending graduate school at Cambridge and Stanford. I enjoy long distance running, road biking, and am a volunteer search and rescue pilot with the Civil Air Patrol.
All experiences are pre-screened through the Vayable team by guide interviews, identity verification and references.
