I'm an Australian that grew up in Asia. My parents moved us to Singapore when I was 4 years old, then I moved to Japan and later to Korea. I headed back to Sydney, Australia when I was 12, but always felt like I needed to return "home." Studying Japanese language and culture at university, I did 1 year of exchange there and try to go every ski season. I moved to Shanghai 2 years ago and have planted firm roots. Learning Mandarin and exploring back streets daily on my sidecar motorbike, I'm beginning to be a walking roadmap of all things off the beaten track in Shanghai.
