My name is Jeff and I specialize in giving tours of Brooklyn, NYC.

My passion is to share the culture, food and history of my hometown (Brooklyn) with the world!

I'm known for being energetic, animated and thirsty for adventure. On my tours we don't just stand around and look at things. Rather, you are encouraged to participate, ask questions, or even contribute. Expect to get insider access and meet interesting people.

My tours are enjoyed by visitors, tourists, and native New Yorkers alike. I'm super-curious, and aspire to learn as much from my guests as they learn from me.

Evelyn and I enjoyed our walking tour with Jeffrey Stirewalt immensely. Jeffrey was articulate, extremely knowledgeable, and charming. In turn amusing and serious, he brought the history and culture of Williamsburg to life: from the early Dutch settlers, the first attempts at English settlements, the influx of new residents via the "new" Williamsburg bridge, the growth and decline of beer brewIng, Tammany, Mae West, and full circle to the current renaissance of micro breweries and art and culture, including today's "hipsters". Plus great, unique shopping! A great tour by a gifted raconteur! We highly recommend Jeffrey's tour!
