Raised between The Town (Oakland) and The City (San Francisco) , Katherin Canton Titus envisions an arts-centered healthy metropolis to call home. Earning a Bachelors of Fine Arts with highest distinctions from California College of the Arts (San Francisco/Oakland) she explored community arts through a studio practice in photography and textiles. Putting theory to practice during her stay at CCA, Katherin took the reigns as the administrative and community collaborations coordinator at the volunteer-run arts center Rock Paper Scissors Collective. Developing her teaching practice and community engagement in the arts, Katherin has also worked in youth development as a teaching artist with Out of Site and Southern Exposure's Mission Voices summer program as an artist assistant.
