Josh worked in the restaurant industry for 10 years and owned a catering company. He has studied cooking techniques in India, and has worked in Indian, BBQ, fine dining, and fusion restaurants.

Valerie is a non profit manager and co-founder of an aerial dance performance troupe.

Valerie and Josh have traveled extensively around the country and to several places internationally. They like to camp and hike.
