I do not typically like the title of “foodie”, but when foodies are described as wanting to learn everything about food, learn about the history, industry, and other’s personal passions surrounding food…then, I guess, I am a foodie.

I jumped into the hospitality industry working at two Charlotte inns. The inns also hosted events and meetings and I quickly found myself on the path of booking and planning weddings, corporate meetings, and other special events. After 5.5 years, I moved to one of the newest upscale hotels in Charlotte where I continued event planning for 9+ more years. Working for a hotel also helped satisfy my travel bug!
My years in the events industry working with great chefs and food & beverage directors along with traveling the world finding culinary treasures tapped my true passion for all things food and beverage!
