This was a really special treat - to be able to experience the variety of tapas at three different tapas restaurants along with a local who was not only an aficionado but a chef himself! We pushed the envelope with our group size of nine, but Richard was accommodating and got us out a little earlier than the crowds since the spots we visited were small. We enjoyed the food and various libations of the culture and were treated to a great walking tour with some history of tapas and the neighborhoods we walked through. Certainly something we would recommend to anyone who wants to experience Barcelona like the locals do! Thanks again, Richard, for such a great night! We wish you great success in your endeavors!

Thanks Ricardo for a perfect afternoon crawling various tapas bars to sample great food AND beverages such as vermouth and cava. We also enjoyed the history lesson along the way (answering our numerous questions) and now much better understand and appreciate the Catalan culture and lifestyle. Highly recommended experience!!!!

Forget your tour books and those restaurants with pictures of food plastered on the front door and book this tour. You will not be disappointed. Ricardo took us to several local gems. I swear none of them were in my Lonely Planet guide. We ate the best croquettes in the city and drank the best vermouth I've ever had! Foodies should book now.
