Voted the destination to visit in 2015 by Lonely Planet, Queens is a veritable melting pot of cultures and flavors--where you can find Colombian fare being sold along Greek bakeries, down the street from charming Italian wine bars. Astoria is a popular neighborhood in Queens where cultures converge and food is delicous!
On this tour we will:
-Meet at the 30th Avenue subway stop, off the N & Q and walk past Astoria's famous fruit & veggie market, which has been featured in the New York Times. While walking we will pick up some bubble tea (a Taiwanese tea-based drink) and head to Broadway.
-We'lll walk to Broadway and along the way I will share insider tips on places to eat since we can't fit it all in one day! We'll head over to a local Colombian restaurant for a traditional snack and local Colombian beer before our main meal at a Korean spot for amazing Korean BBQ wings.
-Last, we'll head to a popular Greek bakery where we'll enjoy a beautiful selection of pastries before parting ways at the Broadway subway stop where you can catch the N or Q home.
