I am an avid oyster lover having explored over 150 kinds from across six continents (see: InAHalfShell.com). During this experience, we will visit two or three oyster bars in Manhattan and/or Brooklyn. I'll give you some options based on preferences. As we slurp our way through the different East Coast and West Coast, we can discuss the history, culture, and business of oysters in NYC. Timing of the event is flexible, but early afternoon is ideal.

Itinerary

You will encounter a variety of different oysters on this tour, along with a peek into some of NY's finest oyster bars. The guided tasting will cover a vast range of oyster knowledge.
