Art & Design Tour in Paris, France: Navigate Paris

It’s normal for first time Paris-goers to arrive with postcard-perfect expectations, but sometimes you need a little extra help to truly uncover the city and discover it from a local perspective. As a seasoned traveler with a design-mind, Anne will help you experience Paris in a way to make the most of your time in this incredible city, teaching you tips, tricks, and insights along the way.

Style: Offbeat

While there are a million guidebooks and blogs out there, nothing really beats having a human point of contact when arriving in a new place. I'll help you understand the layout of Paris, how to get around, tips for using the metro, buying tickets, French etiquette, and more. I'll share tips on how to keep your trip budget friendly and interesting things happening during your visit that may be worth checking out. Let me know any special interests to make the most of our time together.

I'll meet you anywhere in the city. Show you around your neighborhood. Help you buy metro tickets. Teach you tips and tricks for getting around and answer any questions you may have about your visit, or how to spend your days. The three hour visit is for up to 4 people.

If you have no preference, I'm happy to pick a surprise neighborhood and show you around! Don't be afraid to ask questions - I'm here to help you make the most of your visit. I can help with French too! A bientôt!

Anne was a wonderful guide! She led us on a tour of well-chosen sites based on our interests, while sharing helpful tips and fascinating tidbits about life in Paris along the way. I also really appreciated her communication before and after the tour. Before the tour, she asked us several questions so that she could learn about our interests, and then she sent us recommendations for restaurants, museums, etc. After the tour, she followed up with a recap of the places we had visited as well as a few more recommendations, based on our conversations during the tour. Also, when I contacted her after the tour to get her advice about a possible pickpocketing scam that we were afraid we'd become victims of, she went out of her way to help us rectify the situation. We highly recommend this guide/tour!

What a wonderful three hours we spent with you Anne.. Thank you so much for the wealth of your experience.. Would not have managed Paris without you.. Got ourselves back to Saint Germain on the metro and then a bus with very little bother... Doug and I enjoyed our time in you company, it felt like being with an old friend...and by the way the cemetery was a great success Doug and I enjoyed searching out many great historians.. Anne was a wonderful guide on our first trip to Paris! We scheduled to meet with her only a few hours after we arrived and we think it was the best money we spent on our trip. She was kind enough to help us navigate the metro, she gave us helpful tips on where to get delicious food, and tailored our experience to where we wanted to sightsee. After leaving us, we promptly received an email from Anne with a summary of the locations we visited, a few tips, and some suggestions. Anne is so wonderful! We had such a good time walking around the city with her. I was blown away by the beautiful Saint Etienne du Mont and "the Midnight in Paris Steps." I know my friends really enjoyed the Bastille Market (I did too!), but my favorite part was du thé at the Grande Mosquée. Anne was a study abroad student too, so she knew all about where to go in the city for students. Really can't recommend her tour enough. One of the best Sundays de ma vie :)
