Belgravia is one of London’s grandest residential districts but hidden from view are some of London’s best pubs. Have you heard about the pub linked to the infamous disappearance of Lord Lucan? Or the alehouse where it is believed the Great Train Robbery was planned? We will also visit the most eccentric pub in town and finish in one off the beaten track (but close to the tube) which is said to be haunted too.
There are lots of surprises - and pints to be pulled - in this part of town.
Led by a qualified City of Westminster Guide the walk starts near Victoria Station and finishes near Hyde Park Corner.
I will also be pointing out lots of places of interest on the way, hidden art, amazing chocolate shops etc and I will give you a hand-out listing these places so you can find them again.
The walk lasts approximately 3 hours which includes half-hour stops in two historic pubs and we'll finish in a third.
I've lived in London all my life and love the city. I've been a qualified City of Westminster Walking Tour Guide since 2009 and now lead mainly food and drink themed walks around the West End of London. I love sharing my knowledge of London's best pubs and hidden cafes with people (combined with a bit of history about the area) and my walks generally involve a pub stop or two. Full profile
