Follies of London

Not every building needs to perform a function. Some are built just for the sake of decoration, eccentricity or sheer foolishness. There are some places in London that are without any doubt completely pointless.

This is a tour of such places. These are unnecessary, idiotic and ill-conceived places that really shouldn't exist. But they do exist and they make London a far more colourful place. This is a tour of madcap schemes, grand designs and badly-hatched plans.
