Santiago is a great city to explore, and it keeps getting better and better (the NY Times selected Santiago as the top touristic destination for 2011).

But my city is not only great because of its highlights - what makes it amazing is the people!

Every time I see people visiting from other countries, I see them hanging out just between each other, but without real interaction with the local people from Chile. They are missing out on knowing the real deal here!

I live with 3 roommates (which happen to be amongst my best friends) in a huge, old style - beautiful house in the lively Providencia neighborhood. We organize house parties constantly, where we invite all of our friends and we have a great time.

if you want to experience a true chilean-style house party, meet some cool people, and try our delicious pisco drinks, then this is definitely something you will not regret.

Itinerary

We usually start around 9pm (that is early for chilean standards) and have a good time in the living room, drinking and chilling, as we wait for more people to arrive. We have a ping-pong table, where I give free lessons to my roommates :-) Sometimes the party stays at the house, and other times we all go out (around 1AM, pretty normal by chilean standards) to a club or bar and keep the fun times going!
Pisco drinks are included! (but feel free to bring something else if you don't like pisco)

It is hard not to fall in love with the people living in this house. Whether you are looking to meet some cool people or just enjoy a "piscola", Tomas, Felipe, Sebastian and Jose will definitely make you feel like a local. Make sure you don't have to wake up early next morning, because you are in for a night to remember.
