My name is Nguyen Viet Bao Loc. You can call me Loc or “Booyaa” – my nick-name. I am a native of Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). I learned English in school and polished my skills talking to foreign travelers on the street. When I started working in a restaurant in downtown Saigon I was able to use my English Language skills. It was there where I first discovered the opportunity to help travelers find their way around Saigon. I was also able to help businessmen and expats with their problems – as an interpreter/translator dealing with local businessmen and landlords – I found out that I was very good at helping foreigners visiting (or living in) Saigon.
