Overnight Camp @ National Park

Even Penang National Park is officially the smallest in the world is still a lot to discover there. Is why I propose 4 options to discover it:

• The current Overnight Camp @ National Park which include:
Turtle Beach & Meromictic Lake + Monkey Beach & LightHouse and one night spend @ Turtle Beach, 3 hours walk.

But Also 3 shorter options that you can find in my others Experiences:

• Half Day @ Turtle Beach & Meromictic Lake 1 hour walk
• Half Day @ Monkey Beach & LightHouse 2 hours walk
• Full Day Exploration @ National Park 3 hours walk

In all options we meet at 10 am at the Main Gate of the Park who is few meters walking distance from the last stop 101/102 buses.

Overnight Camp @ National Park is one hour walk to Turtle Beach & one hour walk on the way back from Monkey Beach the day after with a beautiful scenery boat ride to join both locations. Is also one hour go up and down the lighthouse hill.

I provide all camping stuff, you provide your food & drinks

We start by visit the small Exhibition Center at the main gate of the Penang National Park if its open as this is not a granted access all the time.
We walk for Turtle Beach & Meromictic Lake then explore the place and visit the Turtle sanctuary, then we install at the Camping Area. You can enjoy the Beach and swim.
We do on BBQ or Gas cooker your own food that you selected prior to join this activity. We camp overnight.
The day after around 12 noon we get a boat to ride to Monkey Beach where you can have your lunch at your own expenses at several stall set on the beach. From there we hike up to the Lighthouse who is 1.2 km of stairs. We explore the lighthouse and access to its circular summit balcony. It's very often we can enjoy Eagles flying around us. Then we walk back down to the beach then to the gate of the Park.

Once @ Monkey Beach you are not obliged to go up and down the light house trail. If suddenly you change your mind and wish to rest on the beach and wait the group or split and go back to the main gate you can do it freely. On my side I stick to the plan as long is one guest who wish to follow the regular organisation.

I always bring emergency First Aid, Walkies Talkies & Flash Light.

If we are lucky we can have the phenomena of Luminous Plankton and swim at night time in a glowing water...
