Enjoy a spectacular day sailing the Bay!
Feel the wind in your hair and the warm sun basking down on you as you sail the San Francisco Bay with me as your private captain. You may take an active role in sailing the boat or just sit back, relax with a glass of wine, and enjoy the ride... you get to choose.
The boat's name is Bolgeskrekk, and she is a fun boat to sail! On blustery days she often does better than 7 knots on the bay, outperforming most other sailboats of her size on the water! She takes the waves and weather very well, and is a very easily sailed vessel, and a great sailboat to learn to sail on.
The vessel is equipped with a well laid out kitchen (galley) and a bathroom (head). The cabin accommodations are very comfortable and roomy. She is both a sturdy and safe vessel, U.S.C.G. equipped and designed to handle the rigors of ocean sailing. This boat is in pristine condition and is pampered by me and our crew. Stereo system aboard includes iPod connections, so bring your favorite music to enjoy on deck or in the cabin.
From secret coves to just a trip around San Francisco, I'll be able to customize the trip to suit your interests and needs!
For: Anyone that loves the outdoors and wants a relaxing experience. Great photo opportunity to shoot the bay and city from a perspective vary few get to experience. Great for celebrations- Birthdays, anniversaries, business events. We can provide lunch or even a bbq anchored in a secluded cove. We customize your experience to meet your needs.
Cost Includes:
Sailing tour with instruction by request- included. Wine, beer, drinks, water is included. Parties up to six.
We can also provide BBQ at secluded anchorage which quite fun (addl charge)
Please let us know what special requests you might have. We not only show you the sights and sounds of the Bay, but can feed you well if you wish. Beer, wine, soda, water, and snack foods are always on the house.

The best way to spend a sunny afternoon
Captain Bob's sailing tour departed from Treasure Island, where we checked out the industrial shipping ports as well as the construction of the new Bay Bridge. Having come from a family of sailors and being at sea since he was in diapers, Bob is super knowledgeable about sailing. You should ask him about the origin of his boat's name! He's pretty flexible, really nice, will take you wherever you want to go, and also show you really cool spots if you're unsure. All your nautical curiosities and questions will be answered.

Sailing with Captain Bob was, by far, the highlight of our trip to San Francisco! If there is anyway to see the city it is definitely by sailboat. Not only did Captain Bob put us at ease, being two people completely unfamiliar with sailing, but he was very informative about everything we saw. Bonus when you get to see Dolphins and Sea Lions! It was the greatest experience to go from sailing so fast through the bay to relaxing and seeing the sites at the end and you also get to hang out Titantic style at the front of the boat, excellent picture taking time! But you definitely can get a good thrill while going at a good clip through the bay. It's so worth every single minute and I would do it again every week if I could! Capt'n Bob gives you such a personal experience while you're out there that you really feel like you're getting the first class treatment. You're not piled into a boat with a bunch of other people, it's like hanging out with a good friend on his boat for the day. It was the neatest thing to see my boyfriend steering a sailboat for the last half of the trip! Captain Bob knows what he is doing and I will definitely be telling everyone I know to check him out when they go to San Francisco next!
