Hands down, Saigon has the best nightlife in Vietnam. Why sleep? Saigon has everything to keep you up all night: relaxed bars, fun dance clubs, late-night dim sum, and off the wall night adventures.

(Side note: take a cab home when it's late to avoid petty theft or drive-by purse snatching, which is common in the downtown area).

Best Bars

Xu Bar (71-75 Hai Ba Trung, District 1) is an upscale venue with great lychee martinis. Pan-Asian cuisine is served upstairs.

Blanchy's Tash Bar (95 Hai Ba Trung, District 1) is nearby, pairing quality martinis and a live DJ.

Street rum (13 Phan Van Dat, District 1). Take a break from the Hanoi ritzy scene and have some rum. This is nothing more than a scattering of red plastic chairs on the pavement. Sit down with a bottle of locally brewed rum and watch the night go by.

Best Clubs

Apocalypse Now (2 Thi Sach St., District 1) is a historic club that used to be frequented by Americans during the war. Things get sweaty and crazy in here on the late night.

Sin Lounge (22 Le Thanh Ton, District 1) is the hottest spot for Saigon's wealthiest to flash their cash and be seen.

Music

Try Yoko Bar (22A Nguyen Thi Dieu) for a chill vibe and interesting live bands.

Night Adventures

Ho Thi Ky Flower Market (District 10). From 11 pm until dawn, check out the colors and smells of this wholesale flower market. Conveniently, it's located beside Little Phnom Penh, so rose-sniffing can be paired with a hot serving of late-night Khmer noodles.
