I found Anne's experience through her blog, and my husband and I met up with her for a couple of hours on our first full day in the city She put together a lovely mostly walking tour based on our interests that took us to a street full of comic book and graphic novel (bandes desinees) shops (rue Dante), through a local pop-up market, and on to the Grand Mosque, where we had a much needed hot cup of tea. We hit some other areas, winding up at the fantastic Marche des Enfanta Rouge. Anne was a font of knowledge about Paris, and she also helped us learn to navigate public transportation and manage a couple of errands. Her insights will definitely inform the rest of our trip. If you're a first-timer to Paris I highly recommend Navigate Paris, and suggest doing it early in your trip!

I had a fantastic time with Lisa + Paul. They're tons of fun + I love that they had special requests (i.e. comic book stores), which made for a fun challenge to see Paris in a new way. We found the mecca!
